Annual Merit Review & Peer Evaluation

Each year, hydrogen and fuel cell projects funded by DOE's Hydrogen Program are reviewed for their merit during an Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meeting.

2009 Annual Merit Review & Peer Evaluation

The DOE Hydrogen Program and Vehicle Technologies Program held a joint peer review meeting May 18–22, 2009, in Arlington, Virginia. The Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meeting showcased projects from hydrogen, fuel cell, and vehicle technologies principal investigators representing the offices of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Fossil Energy, Nuclear Energy, and Science. Presentations and posters on project status and results are available in the 2009 Annual Merit Review Proceedings and the 2009 Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Report. The 2009 Annual Merit Review Awards recognize outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the DOE Hydrogen Program.

2008 Annual Merit Review & Peer Evaluation

The 2008 Annual Merit Review, held June 9–13, 2008, in Arlington, Virginia, showcased nearly 300 projects. Hydrogen and fuel cell principal investigators representing the offices of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Fossil Energy, Nuclear Energy, and Science presented their project status and results in oral and poster presentations, which are available in the 2008 Annual Merit Review Proceedings and the 2008 Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Report. The 2008 Annual Merit Review Awards recognize outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the DOE Hydrogen Program.

2007 Annual Merit Review & Peer Evaluation

The 2007 Annual Merit Review, held May 15–18, 2007, in Washington, D.C., showcased approximately 300 projects. Hydrogen and fuel cell principal investigators representing the offices of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Fossil Energy, Nuclear Energy, and Science presented their project status and results in oral and poster presentations, which are available in the 2007 Annual Merit Review Proceedings and the 2007 Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Report. The 2007 Annual Merit Review Awards recognize outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the DOE Hydrogen Program.

2006 Annual Merit Review & Peer Evaluation

The 2006 Annual Merit Review, held May 16–19, 2006, in Arlington, Virginia, showcased approximately 250 projects. Principal investigators presented their project status and results in oral and poster presentations, which are available in the 2006 Annual Merit Review Proceedings. A panel of more than 150 community experts peer reviewed two-thirds of the projects. These peer evaluation results are provided in the 2006 Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Report. The 2006 Annual Merit Review Awards recognize outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the DOE Hydrogen Program.

2005 Annual Merit Review & Peer Evaluation

The 2005 Annual Merit Review was held May 23–25, 2005, in Arlington, Virginia. 2004 Annual Merit Review & Peer Evaluation

The 2004 Annual Merit Review was held May 24–27, 2004, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
