HTAC, a Federal Advisory Committee, was established to advise the Secretary of Energy on the programs and activities under Title VIII of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
Effects of a Transition to a Hydrogen Economy on Employment in the United States Report to Congress estimates the employment effects of a transformation of the U.S. economy to the use of hydrogen in the 2020 to 2050 timeframe. This report fulfills requirements of section 1820 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
Hydrogen Goal-Setting Methodologies Report to Congress summarizes the processes used to set Hydrogen Program goals and milestones. Published in August 2006, this report fulfills the requirement under section 1819 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
Solar and Wind Technologies for Hydrogen Production Report to Congress summarizes the technology roadmaps for solar- and wind-based hydrogen production. Published in December 2005, this report fulfills the requirement under section 812 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
Fuel Cell Report to Congress summarizes the technical and economic barriers to the use of fuel cells in transportation, portable power, and stationary and distributed generation applications. This report was published in February 2003.
