Annual Merit Review Highlights Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Projects

The Department of Energy (DOE) hosted its Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meeting June 9-13, 2008 in Arlington, Va. The meeting brought together hydrogen and fuel cell principal investigators representing the DOE offices of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Fossil Energy, Nuclear Energy, and Science. Topics focused on the latest developments in hydrogen production; delivery; storage; fuel cells; technology validation; education; safety, codes, and standards; analysis; and basic energy sciences.
