DOE Offices and Programs
The DOE Hydrogen Program includes participation from multiple hydrogen-related offices. Each office manages activities that address hydrogen technologies that meet the needs of their respective feedstocks and target applications.
DOE's Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy has the lead organizational role for the DOE Hydrogen Program. It is responsible for directing and integrating activities to advance innovation in the production, transport, storage, and use of hydrogen across different sectors of the economy.
