These advisory panels have provided technical and programmatic advice for DOE's Hydrogen Program.

Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee

The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee was established to advise the Secretary of Energy on the programs and activities under Title VIII – Hydrogen of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, and operated from October 2006 to January 2021.

National Research Council

The National Academy of Sciences, through its National Research Council, periodically reviews the research and demonstration programs of DOE's Hydrogen Program as directed by the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
